DFO's rules are hard to read, especially on the water. This app turns them into a simple map — pick a salmon species, see where you can keep it.

Salmon only for now - halibut, rockfish, crab and other species have their own rules this app doesn't show.

Map lines are close to the official boundaries, not exact - give them some room.

Rules shown here may be outdated or wrong; the DFO website and Fishery Notices are the only legal authority and prevail over anything in this app. This app covers salmon fishing only - closures shown may apply to all finfish (salmon included), but limits and gear rules for other species are not covered. All boundaries drawn in this app, including Rockfish Conservation Areas and other closed zones, are approximate reproductions of the official coordinates, and GPS positions have limited accuracy - near any boundary, assume the more restrictive rule applies and verify your position against official charts.
